I remember seeing the 1982 film Tron when it came out. I was impressed with the glow in the dark, one-color design. I was drawing everything with one-color outlines after watching the movie. This movie introduced me to computer programming. I ended up searching for and asking a lot about computers at the time. I recall begging my father for my own computer. I eventually ended up with a Commadore Vic-20. A couple years later, the 1984 film The Last Star Fighter came out. It had an exciting story, and with exciting characters. Both films had great Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) for the time.
