About Copyrights

The most basic statement I can think of when it comes to copyrighted material is “The right to sue.” I have works published and unpublished. When I couldn’t afford to copyright, I would send a copy of my work in the mail to myself, and a relative. We used to call that a poor man’s copyright. I was in a band called “Busride” many years ago. We had a big show coming up, so we needed the best flyer ever. I researched the web and found a painting called “Space bus.” We contacted the owner and asked permission. He said yes, if I we gave him credit, which we did. If I develop a website, album cover, or advertisement, I do everything myself, or I get permission from the creator. It appears that both HG2G and Wikipedia have countless number of contributors.
